Web desk: Pakistan opener Saim Ayub regained the top spot in the men T20 all rounder rankings after a brilliant series against Australia.
According to the latest rankings released by the International Cricket Council ICC the 23 year old Saim Ayub moved ahead of Zimbabwe veteran Sikandar Raza.
Ayub scored 119 runs and took three wickets in the series against Australia.
Meanwhile other Pakistan players also gained in the updated rankings.
Spinner Abrar Ahmed rose two places to second in the T20 bowlers list. He is now only 28 rating points behind the leader.
Also Mohammad Nawaz took five wickets. He jumped eight places to seventh among bowlers. He also climbed one place to fourth in the all rounders list.
Furthermore Shaheen Shah Afridi moved up five places to nineteenth.
In the batting rankings Saim Ayub and captain Salman Ali Agha made strong progress. Ayub climbed eight places to twenty seventh. Salman Ali Agha rose twelve places to twenty ninth.
However Sahibzada could not deliver a strong performance against Australia. He dropped two places to seventh.
