Web Desk: The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday across the province on March 23, 2026, to mark Pakistan Day.
The Services, General Administration and Coordination Department said all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under Sindh’s administration will close on Monday, March 23. Essential services will continue to operate as usual.
Pakistan celebrates Pakistan Day every year on March 23. The day honors the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940, which demanded a separate homeland for Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. Across the country, officials organize ceremonies, national events, and patriotic activities to mark the occasion.
