Web Desk: Huge and sophisticated cache of weapons recovered from terrorists in Noshki. Security forces launched a large-scale, intelligence-led operation in Noshki district of Balochistan, striking multiple terrorist safe houses. The overall operation resulted in the killings of more than 180 terrorists so far. Loud blasts were reported across Noshki and adjoining areas during the action.
Security officials stated that the operation was initiated after receiving verified intelligence inputs. Troops strategically encircled the identified locations, effectively blocking all escape routes for the militants.
Multiple hideouts were uncovered in and around the city. According to intelligence assessments, the terrorists were preparing attacks against both security personnel and civilians. Swift intervention by the forces disrupted these plans and averted potential casualties.
After the initial strikes, a comprehensive search-and-clearance operation was launched. The entire area was secured, and phased mop-up operations are ongoing to eliminate any residual threats.
Authorities reaffirmed that ensuring lasting peace in Balochistan remains a key objective. Security operations will continue until complete clearance is confirmed, with heightened measures in place to safeguard civilians.
In another successful counterterrorism operation in Noshki, security forces engaged militants, leading to a fierce exchange of fire. Seven terrorists were killed, while one suspect was apprehended alive.
All participating troops remained unharmed. A significant quantity of weapons and equipment was seized, including SMGs, M16 rifles, LMGs, a Dragunov sniper rifle, an RPG, along with communication devices, night-vision gear and other tactical items.
The operation underscores the resolve of security forces to maintain stability in the region. Further investigations are underway to uncover details regarding the militants’ affiliations and operational plans.
