Pakistan rejects Indian media’s false claims of ties with Israel

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has strongly rejected baseless propaganda aired by an Indian television channel, stating that Pakistan has never recognized Israel nor is any military cooperation under consideration.

Indian channel Republic TV falsely claimed that Pakistan was preparing to send 20,000 troops to Gaza under the supervision of Western countries and Israel. The channel further alleged that Pakistan had removed the clause “Not valid for travel to Israel” from its passports.

In response, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified in an official statement that the clause declaring the passport invalid for travel to Israel remains unchanged.

According to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, Pakistani passports still clearly state that they are valid for all countries except Israel.

Exposing the Indian channel’s disinformation, the Ministry of Information reaffirmed that Pakistan’s stance on Israel is firm and unequivocal. The statement emphasized that Pakistan neither recognizes Israel nor contemplates any form of military collaboration.

The ministry reiterated that Pakistan’s position in support of the Palestinian right to self-determination is principled and unwavering, condemning India’s “godi media” for spreading fabricated stories and malicious propaganda against Pakistan.
