Rawalpindi: Due to construction work at Kacheri Chowk, new timings have been announced for schools in Rawalpindi, which will remain in effect until further orders.

According to the details, the Deputy Commissioner Office Rawalpindi has announced new working hours for all educational institutions located in the Cantt and City subdivisions due to the ongoing construction work at Kacheri Chowk.

The official notification said that with immediate effecr, the school timings have been fixed from 7:45 am to 12:45 pm, which will remain in effect until further orders.

Officials said that this decision has been taken to ensure the safety of students and improve traffic flow, as daily transportation is being badly affected due to construction activities at Kacheri Chowk.

Due to the construction work, many parents had trouble getting their kids to school on time and had demanded a change in timing to cope with the traffic rush.
