The Sindh government has decided to provide milk-producing animals to deserving families to support their economic rehabilitation.
A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Livestock Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani, where the provincial government finalized this initiative aimed at poverty alleviation and financial support for the poor.
Minister Malkani said that needy families across the province will receive dairy animals, with priority given to widows and orphaned households.
The program will initially start in Tharparkar and Badin districts, and strict transparency measures will be enforced. No political or social recommendations will be accepted.
He emphasized that only genuine, eligible poor families will benefit from this program. Selection will be based on surveys, giving priority to most affected districts and union councils.
All necessary steps have been completed to ensure the program is transparent and fair, according to the minister.
