Another video of TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala has surfaced, after which the nature of the matter appears to be becoming clearer.
In the new footage, DSP Traffic Raya Circle Hisham Lodhi can be seen explaining the traffic violation matter in a very polite manner and informing about legal action.
It can be seen in the video that DSP Hisham Lodhi continuously instructed Nadeem Mubarak to take the vehicle to the police station, however Nadeem Nani Wala reportedly refused to comply. In the footage, Nadeem Mubarak can be heard saying that his vehicle does not have a number plate, therefore he will not take it to the police station himself.
According to sources, another important development in the incident is that dashcam recording installed in the vehicle has also surfaced, after which different aspects of the entire matter are becoming clear. In the video, DSP Hisham Lodhi can also be seen repeatedly addressing Nadeem Mubarak respectfully as “Nadeem Bhai,” which reflects his professional and polite conduct during the situation.
It is worth noting that a case has been registered against Nadeem Nani Wala at Defence C Police Station under the charge of interference in official duties, which was registered on the complaint of Inspector Muhammad Fahad Rehman. After the case was registered, the accused Nadeem Mubarak also spent one night in lockup.
Initially, allegations of misbehavior with police officials and alleged corruption were also under discussion on social media; however, after the emergence of new videos and evidence, neither allegations of misbehavior nor corruption could be proven. According to officials, all video material has been formally included in the investigation.
CTO Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi has stated that the law is equal for everyone and action against those violating traffic laws will continue without discrimination. Further investigation of the incident is ongoing and legal action will be taken in light of all evidence.
