Web Desk: The Muttahida Madaris Council of Pakistan has distanced religious seminaries, educational boards and religious federations from any statements deemed disrespectful or negative toward the Pakistan Army and the country’s fallen soldiers.
In a statement, the council said no such remarks represented the views or position of religious educational institutions and their affiliated bodies.
The council paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs, saying their contributions in defending the country should be recognised and respected.
It reaffirmed its commitment to national unity, peace and stability, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to strengthen social harmony.
The council stressed that religious seminaries and educational organizations remain committed to promoting responsible discourse and supporting national cohesion.
It reiterated that any statements targeting the armed forces or martyrs do not reflect the stance of Pakistan’s religious education network.
The statement comes amid broader discussions over public remarks concerning national institutions, with the council seeking to clarify its position and underline its support for unity and stability.
