Web desk: Murad Saeed submitted his resignation from his Senate seat to the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as a form of protest. He also demanded that the party members resign immediately from the Senate and provincial assemblies.
Murad Saeed called for collective resignations from Parliament. He urged that former Prime Minister Imran Khan receive immediate medical treatment in the presence of his personal doctors.
He alleged that the government has failed to implement the Supreme Court’s orders. Murad Saeed stated that young people have been blocking roads for thirty-six hours.
He emphasized the need to challenge the roots of the current government. Murad Saeed proposed that members resign simultaneously from the Senate, National Assembly, Punjab Assembly and Sindh Assembly.
He said peaceful protesters have been confined inside Parliament. Murad Saeed appealed to expand the protests across the country.
Murad Saeed sent his resignation to the party caretaker chairman Barrister Gohar and general secretary Salman Akram Raja.
