A large number of seats are still available under the private Hajj scheme for 2027. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 50,000 seats remain available under the private Hajj scheme.
Following a notice issued by the Monitoring Section of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, private Hajj bookings have increased, and the number of applications received through the Pak Hajj App has reached 21,547.
Booking Process Accelerates
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims are continuing to submit applications under the private Hajj scheme. Authorities have directed pilgrims to follow the prescribed procedure for financial transactions related to Hajj to avoid any difficulties or complaints during payments.
The Ministry has clarified that pilgrims under the private scheme should pay their Hajj package dues through the Pak Hajj App. They have been advised to avoid making direct payments to any individual, agent or company.
Rs18 Billion Transferred
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, approximately Rs18 billion has been transferred to the accounts of authorised Hajj companies through the Hajj Portal.
The spokesperson said that approximately 45 percent of the payments received were made through digital means, while the remaining 55 percent was deposited through manual bank challans.
Packages from 25 Authorised Companies Available
The Ministry of Religious Affairs said that more than 2,000 Hajj packages from 25 authorised companies are available on the Hajj Portal. Pilgrims can review the details of available packages according to their requirements and budget and complete their bookings through the prescribed procedure.
Authorities have advised pilgrims to verify the authorised status of a company and the information available on the portal before purchasing a Hajj package to avoid financial losses through unauthorised individuals or organisations.
November 20 Set as Deadline
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, November 20 has been set as the deadline for registration and booking through the Hajj Portal under the private Hajj scheme. Pilgrims have been instructed to complete their booking and payment process within the stipulated time instead of waiting until the last date.
Complaint Facility Also Available
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also clarified the procedure for filing complaints for pilgrims under the private Hajj scheme. According to the spokesperson, if a pilgrim faces any issue related to booking, payment, a company or a Hajj package, they can report their complaint or problem through the inquiry option available on the Hajj Portal.
According to the Ministry, pilgrims can benefit from the packages available through authorised companies during the stipulated period due to the availability of seats under the private Hajj scheme. However, emphasis has been placed on completing all booking and payment stages through the prescribed official system.
