Web Desk: Pakistan Super League is adding two new teams this season. The teams are almost finalized. Inverex Solar Group has emerged as one of the strongest contenders in the race to secure a new PSL franchise. The franchise if secured by the company is expected to represent wither Rawalpindi or Faisalabad.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan Super League has maintained a long-standing association with the renewable energy firm. It had been contributing as a sponsor for almost 10 years. Due to this their position in the bidding process is already strengthened.

A franchise could be based on Gilgit and reports suggest that the Aga Khan Group is interested in securing this franchise.

The highly coveted trophy of Pakistan Super League 11 is set to embark on a promotional tour across the United Kingdom. Fans residing in major cities like London and Manchester will have the opportunity to view the trophy. They might even be able to meet some prominent cricketers taking part in league.

Salman Nazeer, Pakistan Super League’s CEO is expected to oversee the tour. The tour aims to attract new commercial partnerships and connect with the sizable Pakistani fanbase. The final scheduling dates are expected to be announced soon.
