Adiala Jail authorities have submitted the medical report of the PTI founder to the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi.

According to sources, Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Jamaat Ali Shah, appeared before the court and submitted the medical report of the PTI founder.

The report states that the medical check-up of the PTI founder was conducted in accordance with the Pakistan Prison Rules. It further said that Bushra Bibi and the PTI founder were being provided with all medical facilities as per jail rules.

It is noteworthy that two days earlier, the court had issued a contempt of court notice to the jail superintendent for failing to submit the report.
The court had sought the medical report of the PTI founder from Adiala Jail authorities today.

It may be recalled earlier, the Executive Director of PIMS Hospital, Islamabad, Rana Imran Sikandar, had shared details regarding the treatment of the PTI founder.

In his statement, he said that due to pressure in the veins of the PTI founder’s right eye, his eyesight was affected. After examining his eye, a team of senior doctors discharged him.
