CM Sohail Afridi and Armed forces join hands to eliminate terrorism

Web desk: The Provincial Apex Committee met under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi. Provincial ministers the Corps Commander Peshawar the Chief Secretary the Inspector General of Police and senior officials attended the meeting.

The session began with prayers for civilians and security personnel who lost their lives in terrorist incidents. Participants paid tribute to the martyrs and honored their sacrifices.

The committee reviewed the security situation in the province. Members discussed steps to eliminate Fitna al Khawarij and restore peace and stability.

The forum agreed that defeating terrorism requires unity. Political parties public representatives community elders and the federal government must work together.

The provincial government reaffirmed its commitment to act with full strength. Authorities will use all resources including the army police CTD and other institutions. The government will make every sacrifice to defeat terrorism.

Officials said the strategy focuses on removing the causes of terrorism. The plan also aims to rebuild public trust. Terrorism affected areas will become model governance districts.

The government will provide special packages for development and basic services. These measures aim to reduce deprivation and support economic growth.

The forum stressed the rehabilitation of displaced families. The government will ensure their care and dignified return.

Chief Minister Suhail Afridi said peace remains the top priority. He said no compromise will be made on law and order. He added that the civil government the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies stand united. He called the fight against terrorism a shared responsibility.
