Web Desk: The Pakistani government will not lift the current ban on the Awami Action Committee (AAC) under any circumstances senior official Absar Alam announced on Thursday.

The administration firmly rejected mediation attempts by religious leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman stating that key decisions regarding the group will remain in place regardless of any guarantees offered.

Government officials admitted that dropping previous charges against the agitators was a massive blunder. Consequently, the state now faces renewed unrest and refuses to repeat past mistakes.

Authorities specifically targeted four prominent leaders of the committee, confirming that the state will not withdraw criminal cases against Sardar Aman, Khawaja Mehran, Khalid Nawaz Shaukat Nawaz Kashmiri and Sardar Omar Nazir.

This uncompromising stance stems directly from the horrific violence inflicted upon law enforcement. During recent protests rioters brutally murdered police officers mutilated their bodies and desecrated their remains.

In addition to the lethal attacks on law enforcement, the extremists instigated widespread chaos across the region. Rioters set fire to government property vandalized civilian vehicles and targeted critical infrastructure including the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Spokespersons emphasized that the state will show absolutely no leniency to anyone involved in these heinous crimes ensuring that those who orchestrated the destruction face the full force of the law.
