Islamabad: A high-level Iranian delegation has arrived in Islamabad to participate in important diplomatic discussions aimed at strengthening regional engagement and promoting stability.
The delegation is led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and includes senior officials such as Abbas Araghchi, reflecting the significance Tehran attaches to the ongoing dialogue.
The visit is part of the broader Islamabad Talks, which brings together regional stakeholders for discussions on cooperation, security, and diplomatic engagement.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by senior Pakistani leadership. Ishaq Dar led the reception ceremony, accompanied by key officials including Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Prominent security and government figures, including Syed Asim Munir and Mohsin Naqvi, were also present to welcome the visiting delegation.
Pakistan has expressed optimism that the talks will yield constructive outcomes and further strengthen diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
Officials reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to playing a facilitative role in promoting long-term peace, stability, and cooperation across the region.
