The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has officially announced his visit to Pakistan.
In a statement issued on social media, he said that the purpose of the visit is close coordination with partners on bilateral matters and consultation on regional developments.
Abbas Araghchi further said that he is starting his timely visits to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow. Our neighboring countries are our priority.
According to Iranian media, the purpose of the visit is to review ongoing developments in the region and the latest situation of war. The Iranian Foreign Minister will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to Islamabad. After Islamabad, Abbas Araghchi will also visit Muscat and Moscow.

Besides, Abbas Araghchi will hold discussions with political leaders on bilateral consultations and the regional situation. He will also discuss the latest developments of the war imposed on Iran by the US and Israel.
Earlier, government sources said that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to arrive in Islamabad tonight with a small team, and important talks and discussions with the Pakistani mediation team may result in the second round of US–Iran “Islamabad peace talks.”
Government sources said that a US logistics and security team is already present in Islamabad for the negotiation process. According to sources, this development is the result of important discussions with the Pakistani mediation team.
