In a recent interview, Iqra Aziz responded to the continued criticism over their age difference, saying that she considers herself lucky to have a husband like Yasir Hussain.
The actress further said that different people have different opinions about their marriage, but other people’s comments have never changed her own feelings toward her husband.
Asked about the approximately 11-year age difference with her husband, Iqra Aziz said she believes the difference is completely normal. “It was the same between our parents. It is a normal thing.”
She further said that age difference is not the only important factor in a relationship; rather, what matters is how much attachment, comfort and mental compatibility a person feels with their spouse.
Iqra clarified that whether there is an age difference or not, the success of a relationship depends on how comfortable both individuals feel with each other.
It should be noted that Iqra and Yasir Hussain have two children. Their first son, Kabir Hussain, was born in July 2021, while their daughter, Sophia Hussain, was born in January 2026.
