A new debate has emerged on social media after several popular scenes from the hit Pakistani private TV drama “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum” were allegedly copied in an Indian drama.
The drama, featuring performances by Hania Aamir, Fahad Mustafa, Emmad Irfani, and Naeema Butt, was widely praised and gained significant popularity not only in Pakistan but also in India.
Social media users claim that the Indian drama “Qubool Hai” includes several scenes that closely resemble memorable moments from the Pakistani serial.
Certain scenes, character behaviors, and situations appear strikingly similar to the Pakistani drama, particularly the scene where Hania Aamir’s character prepares food for her family while Naeema Butt’s character attempts to give her money.
A similar sequence has reportedly been shown in the Indian drama.
Similarly, Fahad Mustafa’s character traits—such as laziness and habitual late arrivals—also appear in a comparable form in the Indian version, leading to allegations of copying.
Social media users have been discussing resemblance after certain scenes appeared to look alike. Viewers shared comparisons online and pointed out resemblances in story moments and character actions. The discussion has sparked debate, with some calling it inspiration while others see it as copying.
It is worth noting that Pakistani dramas have gained strong popularity both locally and internationally due to their engaging storytelling, emotional depth, and realistic portrayal of social issues. They are widely appreciated for their strong scripts, meaningful dialogues, and powerful performances by actors. In recent years, Pakistani serials have also attracted large audiences in countries like India and Middle East.
