ISLAMABAD: Following its humiliating defeat in Operation Marka-e-Haq, India has once again attempted a baseless propaganda campaign against Pakistan, a move that has now been exposed.
Having faced setbacks on the defense front, India resorted to unfounded allegations, twisting the personal opinion of a former CIA officer into a fabricated anti-Pakistan narrative. Indian newspapers, including Economic Times, Times of India, and Lokmat Times, published misleading claims under the guise of this so-called “intelligence insight.”
The Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has unmasked the lies of the Modi government’s media machinery, exposing their false and laughable assertions.
In a desperate attempt to erase the humiliation in Operation Marka-e-Haq, Indian media outlets have cited fictitious statements by former CIA officer John Kiriakou, claiming that “Pakistan cannot face India in a conventional war.” They even went as far as alleging that Pakistan’s nuclear weapons were once under Pentagon control, a claim entirely fabricated and devoid of evidence.
Reliable sources within Pakistan’s Ministry of Information have confirmed that there is no official record or proof supporting any such statement by the former CIA officer. What Indian media labeled as “declassified intelligence” is nothing more than fiction, a reminiscent of Bollywood spy thrillers and action films.
It is noteworthy that John Kiriakou has long been known for making controversial and unsubstantiated remarks since his retirement. Pakistan’s National Command Authority maintains complete and exclusive control over the country’s nuclear assets, reaffirming that such baseless claims are merely another failed attempt by India to distract from its own military embarrassment.
