As part of the ’Safe Punjab Campaign‘ underway in Punjab, the Traffic Police have launched a full-scale crackdown against drivers without a driver's license. This 90-day special campaign aims to prevent traffic accidents and ensure the safety of public life and property across the province. According to a traffic police spokesman, more than 170,000 drivers were fined heavily for driving without a license in the first two weeks of the campaign. These actions have seen an 11% increase over the previous period, indicating campaign success and improved public awareness. 19% increase in license issuance
