Gold prices slip by Rs. 1,000 per tola in local market

KARACHI: After a brief rise a day earlier, gold prices have once again dropped in both local and international markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 1,000 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 418,862. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 857 to Rs. 359,106.

Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs. 5,034 per tola.

In the international market, the price of gold also fell by $10 per ounce, reaching $3,965.
