Iran destroys anti drone system in Dubai

Iran has claimed that it carried out missile and drone strikes on sites linked to US forces in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, including destroying a depot of Ukraine’s anti-drone systems.

According to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, the depot in Dubai was being used to support US military operations.

Iran’s semi-official news agency Tasnim reported that the Revolutionary Guards targeted two locations in Dubai using missiles and drones.

A spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, stated that more than 500 US personnel had taken shelter at the targeted sites to avoid Iranian strikes.

He further claimed that following the attacks, US forces were forced to move to other locations after their bases were damaged.

The spokesperson added that the depot containing Ukrainian anti-drone systems was also hit during the strikes.

According to the Revolutionary Guards, the warehouse was completely destroyed, and there are fears that 21 Ukrainian personnel present at the site may have been killed.

The operation was reportedly carried out jointly by Iran’s air and naval forces.
