Karachi : After a decline in the international market, gold prices have also decreased in Pakistan.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 3,400, bringing the new price to Rs 533,762 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs 2,915, reducing it to Rs 457,614.
Jewellers stated that gold prices per tola have fallen by Rs 30,100 over the past four days.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold per ounce became cheaper by $34 and is now priced at $5,110.
Price decrease 5th March
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $28, reaching $5,144.
Meanwhile, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 2,800, bringing it down to Rs 537,162. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs 2,401 to Rs 460,529.
Silver prices also witnessed a decline in the local market. The price per tola of silver decreased by Rs 194 to Rs 8,810, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs 166 to Rs 7,553.
