Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan has been released from Israeli captivity, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has formally confirmed his release. Mushtaq Ahmad Khan was arrested by Israeli forces along with others from a naval convoy “Global Samud Flotilla” carrying aid to Gaza. After his arrest, Pakistan continued its efforts through diplomatic channels. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that the release of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan is the result of Pakistan's diplomatic efforts. They stated that the relevant institutions are busy making arrangements for their return. Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan has always supported the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and has not been silent on the issue of illegal arrest or detention of any Pakistani. According to sources, Mushtaq Ahmed Khan will be brought back home soon, where he will be welcomed by party leaders and workers.
