The Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian is arriving in Islamabad tomorrow on Tuesday on an important one-day brief official visit to Islamabad.
During the visit, he will hold important meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Sources also indicate that the Iran’s President is visiting to express gratitude for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and role during the Iran–US conflict. High-level meetings are likely, and preparations for the visit have already been completed by the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, Iranian Presidential Office Director of Public Relations Habibullah Abbasi said in a statement while speaking to Iranian media in Tehran that the purpose of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit is to thank Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his role in mediating between the United States and Iran.
Similarly, Pakistan Ministry of foreign affairs, in its official statement, has confirmed the official visit of Iran’s president along with his key team. The ministry said that during the meeting the Iranian president will hold key meetings with Pakistani officials, focusing on bilateral relations and recent developments under the Islamabad MoU.
The ministry also highlighted the importance of Pak-Iran strong relations, highlighting Iran’s president’s second visit to Pakistan in recent days.
