Web Desk: A powerful explosion ripped through a vehicle packed with explosives in the Sarai Naurang Bazaar area of Pakistan’s northwestern Lakki Marwat district on Tuesday, martyring at least seven people and injuring 10 others, including traffic police personnel, according to preliminary reports.
Rescue officials said authorities feared the death toll could rise as several of the wounded remained in critical condition. Meanwhile, emergency teams rushed the injured to Sarai Naurang Hospital while security forces sealed off the area and launched an investigation into the blast.
