BAGH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan dealt India a decisive defeat in the four-day conflict, adding that a recent report by the US Congress has validated Pakistan’s victory.
Speaking at a ceremony in Bagh, Azad Kashmir, he said the US President repeatedly mentions the downing of Indian aircraft in his speeches, reflecting the scale of India’s losses. The prime minister said the armed forces, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, fought with exceptional courage, and the performance of the Pakistan Air Force forced the enemy to its knees. He added that the US President has referenced the loss of seven Indian aircraft multiple times.

Shehbaz Sharif stressed that Pakistan would achieve success in the economic arena just as it did on the battlefield. He said his government is working tirelessly for the country’s progress, and Pakistan has been blessed with respect around the world.
The prime minister added that national challenges cannot be solved through “magic or spiritual rituals,” but only through consistent hard work. He expressed confidence that the day will come when Pakistan will be free from debt.
It is noteworthy that the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission’s report presented in the US Congress acknowledged that India suffered a severe defeat in the May Pakistan-India conflict. According to the report, Chinese weapons played a key role in Pakistan’s victory.
Speaking further in Bagh, the prime minister assured that promises made to the AJK committee would be fulfilled. He expressed hope that the AJK prime minister would serve the people with dedication and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to extend moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir.
