Doctor Adnan Khan’s tweet about Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s surgery and health has been released

A message has been posted on “X” by Dr. Adnan Khan, Chief Executive of Shalamar Medical City Hospital Lahore, regarding Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s surgery and health condition.

In his tweet on X, Dr. Adnan Khan said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz successfully underwent a major operation at Shalamar Medical City Hospital Lahore. He added that the surgery went exactly as planned and was completely successful, Alhamdulillah.

He further stated that after the operation, Maryam Nawaz was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for one night, where her condition remained stable and improved. She has now been discharged from the hospital and is in the recovery (convalescence) phase.

He also mentioned that considering the complexity of the surgery, she was advised to receive treatment at a high-level hospital abroad, but she declined and chose to undergo the procedure in Lahore instead.

Prayers continue for her recovery, and people from the public and political circles are wishing her a speedy and full recovery.

It is also worth noting that Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, in her message on social media platform X, said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz continued to directly monitor security, sanitation and other administrative affairs in the province from the hospital even on Eid ul Adha.
