The Indian police confirmed on Wednesday that the alleged Bondi attack terrorist Sajid Akram was from the Southern Indian city of Hyderabad. The police also said that the family members were not aware of Sajid’s radical mindset.
The Telangana police stated that the man carried out the attack with his son, completed his commerce degree from Hyderabad, the state capital, and a major hub of technology.
Sajid Akram moved to Australia in November 1998 to find a job there. According to the details, he is married to a European woman. He is the father of a son and a daughter.
The police mentioned in their statement that Sajid Akram visited India six times in this time period regarding family and property matters. However, after his father’s death, Sajid Akram did not return.
