WEBDESK: The Pakistan’s Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged political parties to put politics aside as Pakistan faces severe floods.
Speaking to flood victims in Muzaffargarh, he said this was not the time for political debates. He stressed that all focus should be on helping those affected.
Bilawal also called on the federal government to declare an agricultural emergency. He said farmers were the hardest hit by the floods and needed urgent relief. According to him, such a step would help save the country from further economic losses.
He demanded that the government use all available resources to cover the damages caused by floods. He also appealed for the waiver of electricity bills for flood-affected families.
The PPP leader said that unity and immediate action were vital to protect both people and the economy during this crisis.
