Web Desk: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and local PTI leaders reached Lachi Bazaar in Kohat Division on Monday evening as the party’s long march toward its rally venue continued.

According to an update issued at 6 p.m., the chief minister and local leaders had crossed Lachi Bazaar and were about 1.5 kilometers from the Football Ground in Tehsil Lachi, where participants are expected to gather.

The update put the number of PTI workers accompanying the march at approximately 2,000 to 2,200.

The participants are expected to remain at the Lachi Football Ground as the march progresses. The gathering forms part of PTI’s ongoing mobilization in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

For security reasons, Afridi is expected to stay separately from the participants at the hujra of Aftab Alam on Doda Road in Kohat.

The latest movement comes as PTI continues its planned political activity in the province, with the chief minister traveling alongside local party leaders toward the designated rally venue.
