Web Desk: Atlas Honda has introduced a new motorcycle exchange program that allows owners of used Honda CD 70s to trade in their existing bikes toward the purchase of a new CD 70.
The initiative offers an alternative for riders looking to replace older motorcycles that have become costly to maintain or have developed problems such as declining fuel efficiency, while avoiding the need to pay the full price of a new bike upfront.
Under the program, customers can take their used Honda CD 70 to an authorized Atlas Honda 3S dealership for assessment.
A technical team will inspect the motorcycle, including its engine, frame and overall mechanical and physical condition. The dealership will then determine an estimated value for the used bike based on its condition and model.
That assessed amount will subsequently be deducted from the official price of a new Honda CD 70, leaving the customer to pay only the remaining balance.
The current listed price of a Honda CD 70 in Pakistan is Rs159,900.
However, Atlas Honda has not set a uniform trade-in value for older motorcycles. Instead, the amount offered for each used bike will depend on factors including its model, mechanical condition and exterior appearance.
As a result, customers could face different exchange valuations depending on the condition of their motorcycles.
The exchange scheme could appeal to riders who want to avoid the time and uncertainty involved in selling their motorcycles privately.
While owners may potentially negotiate a higher price through the open market, a dealership-based exchange can offer a more structured transaction and reduce concerns over payment, paperwork and finding a buyer.
Moreover, customers can complete the assessment and purchase process through an authorized dealership rather than handling the sale and purchase separately.
Owners interested in exchanging their used Honda CD 70 can visit their nearest Atlas Honda authorized 3S dealership to have their motorcycle evaluated.
The final exchange value will be determined after the dealership’s inspection, while the customer will be responsible for paying the difference between that valuation and the price of the new motorcycle.
The initiative gives existing CD 70 owners another route to upgrade their motorcycles while keeping the transaction within the company’s authorised dealership network.
