There are reports of another attack in the Darazanda area of Dera Ismail Khan, where a Rescue 1122 ambulance transporting the injured from the suicide attack was also targeted.

In a suicide blast in the Darazanda area of Dera Ismail Khan, 11 people were martyred, while more than 30 people, including police personnel, customs officials and civilians, were injured.
According to sources, the blast occurred at the anti-smuggling “Aman Mela Police Check Post” located on the D.I. Khan-Quetta Road. Sources said that a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) rammed into the anti-smuggling check post, following which a highly powerful explosion occurred.
According to sources, a total of 11 people were martyred in the blast, including six police personnel, two customs officials, two women and a two-year-old child.
More than 30 people, including police personnel, customs officials and civilians, were injured in the blast. According to sources, some of the injured are in critical condition, raising fears that the death toll may increase.
Sources described the attack on the anti-smuggling check post as clear evidence of a nexus between terrorists and criminal elements, particularly smugglers.
According to sources, Khawarij once again targeted security forces and civilians in the attack.
Meanwhile, there is intense anger and concern among local residents over what they describe as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s detachment and indifference toward terrorism.
