WEBDESK: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned of strong winds and thunderstorms in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and nearby areas.
In a post on X, the department said a “rain-bearing system” is forming in the northeast of the federal capital. Residents have been urged to take precautionary measures.
The PMD said heavy winds and rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, may affect the region in the next one to three hours.
Authorities advised people to remain cautious during the bad weather and follow the latest updates from the Meteorological Department.
