Web Desk: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) organised Summer Camp 2026 for students from across Pakistan, bringing together more than 4,000 participants from over 18 stations nationwide to promote national awareness, leadership, and personal development.
During the camp, former senator and analyst Javed Jabbar held a special interactive session with participants, where he spoke extensively about Pakistani identity and the country’s freedom movement.
He described the creation of Pakistan as a unique event in world history, saying it became possible through the vision, determination, and political strategy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Jabbar said the Pakistani nation laid the foundation of a strong state despite limited resources by demonstrating unity, resolve, and a spirit of sacrifice.
He said Pakistan’s historical and cultural identity extends beyond the Indus Valley Civilization and includes ancient civilizations such as Mehrgarh, reflecting the country’s rich and diverse heritage.
Moreover, he said Pakistanis have earned international recognition for their intelligence, compassion, hospitality, tolerance, and distinct national identity.
Addressing the Kashmir issue, Jabbar said Pakistan has consistently maintained its principled support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
He also praised the Pakistan Army, saying its officers fight alongside soldiers on the front lines and that the officer casualty rate ranks among the highest in militaries around the world.
Concluding his address, Jabbar described the ISPR Summer Camp as an important initiative to foster national consciousness, promote positive values, and help young people develop their abilities and potential.
