Punjab has opened applications for free flats for industrial workers in Lahore and Kasur, following Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s directive.
Submissions will be closed on Monday, September 8, 2025.
Who qualifies for free flats for Industrial Workers
The directives say, Phase-I, 750 flats will be allotted at the Workers Welfare Complex, Sundar Industrial Estate, Kasur.
In which two-thirds of units are reserved for workers from Kasur, and one-third for Lahore. Similarly, special quota secures access for vulnerable families.
Additional, officials said 3% of flats are reserved for widows of deceased workers, while 2% are reserved for disabled workers.
In an unprecedented move, allotments are free of cost for eligible applicants under the programme.
Applicants must be industrial workers from Lahore or Kasur districts and meet Workers Welfare Fund criteria.
Furthermore, verification will be conducted by the labour authorities before final lists are issued through an official letter.
How to apply for free flats scheme in Punjab
Application forms can be downloaded from official government websites, the Chief Minister announced.
Moreover, registration forms are also available free at the offices of the Director Labour Welfare (North) and the Deputy Director Labour Welfare (South), Kasur.
Key deadline for free flats scheme
Completed forms must be submitted by September 8, 2025.
Authorities advise applicants to attach required documents with the registration forms and keep copies for records.
Any incomplete submissions may be returned during scrutiny.
