Punjab Police constable jobs 2025: Positions & Appointment Details
The job positions include Lady Constable (Wireless), Constable, Driver Constable, and Mechanic Constable as per the official notice. The employment is on a temporary basis but may turn into the permanent employment after training and assessing their performance.

Punjab Police constable jobs 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have a valid domicile of respective district and a Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC). Educational qualification should be between Middle and Intermediate depending on the post. Candidates holding Intermediate (FA) or higher educational qualification will be given additional marks.
The age limit for temporary posts is 18 to 25 years, while for permanent appointment it extends to 28 years. Applicants must also be physically fit and ready for training at the Lahore Police Training Centre.
For Driver Constables, a valid motorcycle licence is required. Mechanic Constables must provide technical proof of skills.

Punjab Police constable jobs 2025: Application Process
Applicants are required to download the form available on punjabpolice.gov.pk, submit the form and attach CNIC, domicile, recent photos, as well as educational certificates.
The entire application should be hand delivered to the District Police Officer (DPO) office before 25 August 2025 (or as per the official newspaper advertisement). Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Candidates should also be prepared for the full selection process, which includes a typing test (minimum 25 words per minute), a written test, physical test, interview, and medical examination.
Original documents will be verified during the recruitment stages.

Candidates who pass the tests will be sent to the Police Training Centre in Lahore for six months of training. The starting salary for new constables is Rs 18,000 per month, with a 10 per cent annual increase.
Successful candidates will be required to sign a five-year service contract and may be posted in any district where vacancies are available.
Officials have warned that providing false information or fake documents will lead to rejection and possible legal action.
