WEBDESK: Renowned journalist and ex-federal caretaker Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi has been appointed as the new spokesperson to the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
He shared the news himself on X (formerly Twitter). In his post, Solangi wrote: “A little personal news. I have been appointed the Spokesperson of the President of Pakistan. I will assume my new responsibilities starting tomorrow. Thank you.”
Murtaza Solangi has had a long career in journalism and broadcasting. He has also served in government positions in the past. His new role will place him as the official voice of the Presidency.
He is expected to take charge of his responsibilities from tomorrow.
