PAF relief operation continues in Gilgit Baltistan, 7 tons of aid dispatched

WEBDESK: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is carrying out a major relief operation in flood hit areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a C-130 aircraft flew from Noor Khan Air Base carrying seven tons of dry rations to the affected region. Food items, medicines, and other relief goods have also been dispatched.

The relief activities are being conducted in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Officials said the aid is being distributed fairly among the flood victims.

So far, the PAF has evacuated 75 people to safe locations. Relief teams are also ensuring the supply of rations, medicines, shelters, and urgent medical help.

ISPR added that the relief operation is being carried out with speed and a well-planned strategy. The army spokesperson said the mission reflects the spirit of national service and the commitment to saving precious lives.

The operation is part of a wider emergency relief campaign. More aid efforts will continue in the coming days.

ISPR stressed that the Pakistan armed forces stand firmly with the nation in every difficult time.
