Who made Labubu dolls?

Labubu dolls were created by the book illustrator Kasing Lung, whose net worth is now estimated at £12.8 billion.

Lung’s inspiration for Labubu and the other monsters comes from his childhood in the Netherlands, where he was exposed to Nordic folklore and mythology. The characters were initially featured in illustrated books and later became popular collectible toys through a collaboration with Pop Mart in 2019.
