Mohsin Naqvi admits Pakistan’s Test poor performance

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Senator Mohsin Naqvi has said that he is neither afraid of criticism nor does he worry about it, adding that he is deeply saddened by the national team’s poor performance.

Speaking to Geo News, Mohsin Naqvi said that what was done in England was necessary, adding that there are other matters besides performance that are currently being looked into. He said that this is not the time to talk about anything other than cricket.

He further said that he has neither been afraid of criticism nor does he fear it now, adding that criticism from those who have achieved nothing themselves does not affect him.

The PCB chairman also said that if a great player like Wasim Akram speaks, he would take it seriously. He added that those who say he does not give time to cricket “know nothing.”

He said that he accepts that Pakistan’s performance in Test cricket has been very poor and urged people to maintain confidence in the players, adding that he would not tolerate their humiliation.
