No immediate plans to marry, but when that stage of life comes, it may happen suddenly, says Mishal Khan.
Actress and host Mishal Khan has spoken about her preferences regarding marriage and her future married life, saying that she wants a relationship in which the husband and wife are each other’s only spouses.
During a recent podcast, Mishal Khan said that she currently has no immediate plans to get married. However, when that stage of life arrives, it could happen unexpectedly.
The actress said she would like to keep her marriage away from unnecessary publicity and public discussion. According to her, her private life is extremely important to her.
Mishal Khan said that even if she announces her marriage, she would not want her married life to become a subject of public discussion, social media comments or blogs.
The actress also made her preference regarding her future spouse clear. She said she would prefer to marry someone who is completely committed to her in the relationship and whose married life does not involve another wife.
Mishal Khan clarified that she has no issue with a person’s past. If someone has previously been married and later divorced, she does not necessarily consider that a negative thing.
However, she said her preference is that when she marries someone, he should be unmarried at that time and that after marriage, their relationship should remain exclusive to the two of them.
Summing up her position, she said the real issue is not about being the first wife, but about being the only wife.
