Senior Pakistani film and television actress and renowned director Sangeeta has clarified reports circulating about the fee paid to actor Moammar Rana for her upcoming film Makho.

These days, Sangeeta is directing the film Makho, in which Saima, Moammar Rana, Meera and Laila are playing the lead roles.

A few days ago, singer Zeeshan Rokhri, who was initially offered a role in the film Makho, claimed that Sangeeta was exploiting Moammar Rana and that he was being paid only Rs500,000 for the film. However, the director has now clarified the matter.

In an interview, Sangeeta denied the rumours and said, “I want to make one thing clear: Moammar Rana is like my son. Whether I give him one rupee, one lakh rupees or 10 lakh rupees is my choice. But the reality is that I agreed to pay him Rs500,000 per day, while the shooting of the film continued for a total of eight days.”

She said that, in this way, the actor was paid a total of Rs4 million for eight days.

She further said that Moammar Rana is not an ordinary actor, but one who has given the Pakistani film industry some of its most successful films. She said the film Chooriyan was a superhit and expressed hope that Makho would mark his spectacular comeback.
