Social media and international journalistic circles are circulating a highly sensational and startling report claiming that the Taliban’s largest intelligence agency in Afghanistan has formally released funds for Adil Raja, a fierce critic of the Pakistan Army and a fugitive.
The claim, which surfaced on the social media platform X, has opened what many describe as a new Pandora’s box in the Pakistan-Afghanistan security landscape and the ongoing propaganda war on the internet.
According to details, the sensational claim was made by prominent Afghan affairs journalist Ahmad Sharifzad on social media. According to him, the Taliban’s powerful intelligence agency, the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), has officially included Adil Raja in its funding network to support his social media campaign and criticism against Pakistan and its security institutions.
