Web Desk: Security forces killed three terrorist during a counterterrorism operation near Killi Sarawan in Balochistan’s Kharan district.
Special Operations Task Force spotted two motorcycles carrying three to four terrorists about 300 meters northeast of Killi Sarawan at about 2 35 p.m.
The task force opened fire after establishing a blocking position along the terrorists’ suspected route. The suspects then attempted to flee toward the northeast. However security personnel pursued them and killed during the operation.
Forces recovered three submachine guns two motorcycles six rocket propelled grenade rounds two suspected improvised explosive device triggering units one battery and about 300 feet of wire from the scene.
The recovered materials suggested the group may have been preparing to carry out an armed attack or assemble and plant an explosive device.
