Web Desk: Pakistani actor and singer Danyal Zafar has lined up his next television project following the growing success of his current drama serial Zanjeerein, where his performance as Sarbuland Khan has earned widespread praise from viewers.
Zafar, who began his television career with the Ramadan special Taana Bana, has steadily built a strong presence on the small screen through projects including Stand Up Girl and Farrar.
Most recently, his portrayal of a complex character grappling with trauma, resilience and personal struggles in Zanjeerein has helped make him a fan favorite.
Now, the actor is preparing for his next major role opposite actress Komal Meer in an upcoming drama tentatively titled Raqaas.
Meer, known for her performances in youthful and lighthearted roles, has increasingly expanded her acting range in recent years. Her portrayal of a real-life-inspired character in Goonj marked a notable shift in her career and showcased a more mature side of her acting abilities.
The upcoming drama is currently being filmed in the scenic hill station of Nathiagali, according to production sources.
Meanwhile, the project reunites writer Radain Shah and director Shahid Shafaat, the creative duo behind the widely acclaimed drama Duniyapur. Their previous collaboration received strong audience appreciation, raising expectations for their latest venture.
