A wounded Taliban fighter injured in border clashes with Pakistan has been shifted to New Delhi, India, where he is currently receiving medical facilitation, an Afghanistan International reporter in Delhi met the injured fighter—who was unable to walk properly—along with his two attendants in the city on Friday.
This Taliban member told the Afghanistan International reporter that he was wounded during a border clash in Spin Boldak. He stated that his travel to India was facilitated by the direct order of Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Taliban’s Defense Minister, and that the Indian Embassy in Kabul cooperated in issuing the visa.
The casual appearance of one of Taliban’s fighters receiving medical care in India undoubtedly hints at the presence of many, exposing the unprecedented support of Taliban regime by India for terror activities in Pakistan.
From the time the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August 2021 until today, three Taliban ministers have officially traveled to India: Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health and Interim Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi to India (October 9–16, 2025) resulted in the military aggression of the Afghan Taliban regime along Pakistan’s western border and the increased number of terror attacks in Pakistan.
During his stay in India, Mr. Muttaqi adopted an unusually hostile tone toward Pakistan, echoing New Delhi’s rhetoric more like an Indian spokesperson than a foreign dignitary. His visit, despite UN sanctions on the Taliban regime manifests a deeper India-Taliban venture for unrest in the region.
Analysts note that since its military defeat in May 2025, India has felt extremely isolated in South and Central Asia with its inability to face Pakistan militarily, it appears to have sought indirect means by supporting the Taliban and utilizing Afghan soil for subversive purposes. The RAW has long been using Afghan territory to promote terrorism inside Pakistan. The Taliban regime has been supporting the terrorists of FAK and BLA from its soil to Pakistan with India its major sponsor.
