PM Shehbaz Sharif has expressed great concern over the recent incidents of violence in Middle East and has warned of the dire consequences and the derailment of the negotiation process if such incidents persist.
In a statement shared on his official X account, the prime minister said the ensuing hostilities between the rival parties could lead to unbearable consequences if such minor incidents continue to take place amid the fragile ceasefire agreement.
He stressed the need for all parties involved in the conflict to exercise maximum restraint and avoid actions that could further escalate tensions in the region.
The prime minister highlighted Pakistan’s consistent position in securing peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy, urging the international community to extend its role in ensuring lasting peace in the Middle East.
He further stated that we are working selflessly and painstakingly, together with our brothers and partners, to find a peaceful diplomatic solution to the conflict, and the final objective of lasting peace is not far to achieve ,
In his message to the world community, the PM appealed that we should give peace a little more chance.
“Let us continue to remain on the path of peace and diplomacy which have bright prospects of success instead of violence and destruction!”, PM Shehbaz reiterated.
