Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali T20 record

Web Desk: Pakistan’s experienced fast bowler Hasan Ali has set a new record in T20 cricket.

According to details, Hasan Ali took four wickets against Leicestershire County Cricket Club in a Vitality Blast match yesterday. During the game, he achieved a major milestone by becoming the fastest bowler in the world to reach 350 wickets in T20 cricket.

The best bowler of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, Hasan Ali accomplished the feat in just 243 matches, breaking the record previously held by Afghan spinner Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan had reached the 350-wicket mark in 251 matches.

The achievement is another significant milestone in Hasan Ali’s career, highlighting his consistency and effectiveness in the shortest format of the game. Known for his ability to strike at crucial moments, the Pakistani pacer continues to strengthen his reputation as one of the most successful T20 bowlers in international and franchise cricket.

PCB permanently drop Shaheen Afridi from test cricket

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) excluded Pakistan One Day International (ODI) captain Shaheen Shah Afridi from the upcoming Test squad today, signaling a permanent shift in his international career.

The decision came as the PCB think tank invited 49 players to a specialized training camp in Lahore, separating the players into 22 red-ball and 27 white-ball cricketers.

Shaheen will only join the 27-member white-ball camp on June 15, while the white-ball camp runs until September 18. Meanwhile, the red-ball training concludes on July 10, preceding the potential West Indies tour camp scheduled for July 15.

The selection committee chose to drop Shaheen from the longer format due to rising concerns over his workload, bowling speed, and lack of domestic first-class experience.

The 26-year-old fast bowler from Khyber Agency supported the decision by comparing his body to a machine that breaks down when overused, noting that rest will restore strength to the fast bowlers.
