UK visa Pakistan application

Web Desk: The British government has streamlined its visa application process for Pakistani citizens, eliminating the need for third-party agents and allowing travelers to manage the entire procedure independently online.

Applicants can now complete the entire process directly through the official UK government website, gov.uk. This digital shift allows Pakistani nationals to access official forms, submit their details, pay the required fees, and book biometric appointments without relying on middlemen.

British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, confirmed the update and urged applicants to utilize the official channels. She emphasized that the restructured system aims to provide a transparent and user-friendly experience, removing the dependency on external agents who often charge exorbitant fees.

To ensure a smooth journey, Marriott advised travelers to submit their applications up to three months before their intended travel date.

The updated process begins with identifying the correct visa category on the official portal. Next, applicants must fill out the form with their travel itineraries, financial documents, and personal background details. The digital portal features a save-and-continue option, which allows users to log out and complete the form at their own convenience.

After completing the application and paying the visa fee online, applicants must schedule a biometric appointment. They will need to visit their nearest VFS Global center to verify their identity and submit their fingerprints, completing the final step of the application process.
